Teisipäeval toimus Londonis pidulik gala, millega tähistati vormel-1 sarja 75. aastapäeva. Esmakordselt ajaloos esitleti seal kõigi kümne meeskonna uue hooaja võistlusmasinaid ühel ja samal üritusel.
Kui varasematel aastatel on tiimid oma autosid tutvustanud eraldi esitlustel, siis seekord pidid kõik meeskonnad jagama lava suurel galaõhtul.
Siiski tasub mainida, et Londonis esitleti eelkõige autode värvilahendusi – nende tegeliku aerodünaamilise võimekuse kohta saab rohkem aimu järgmisel nädalal Bahreinis toimuvatel hooaja-eelsetel testidel.
Uus F1 hooaeg saab avapaugu 14.–16. märtsil, kui Austraalias peetakse aasta esimene etapp.
